At Craie Studio, each bag is a unique story, and the Bibi bag is a perfect example.
Created for the birth of our daughter Bianca, the Bibi quickly won over our customers with its innovative design and artisanal manufacturing.
From workshop to creation
In our workshop in Casablanca, each bag is carefully designed. Sébastien, co-founder of Craie Studio, loves exploring the Lineapelle trade show in Italy, where he finds the best machines and materials. One of his finds, a leather perforating machine, has allowed for more daring and creative designs.

The perforation technique
Initially, we made classic round perforations. Then, we opted for rectangular perforations, adding a unique touch. Thick calf leathers are perforated directly, while metallic leathers are reinforced with a leather lining before perforation for more durability.

The design of the Bibi bag
The Bibi bag is made from a single piece of perforated leather, folded and sewn by hand to create a soft and airy bucket bag. A leather cord closes the bag, which is lined with organic cotton. Everything is done by hand, without machines, for a unique result.
